The University of the Incarnate Word's (UIW) commitment to providing educational excellence in a context of faith in Jesus Christ, the Incarnate Word of God, extends beyond its Cardinal community. UIW also considers the academic ambitions of K-12 students, knowing that future generations will impact our world as we know it. Through the establishment of the Brainpower Connection, the University has helped establish pathways towards higher education for grade school students as they pursue their respective dreams and ambitions.
On Saturday, May 23, the graduation ceremonies for the Brainpower Connection high schools were hosted on the UIW Broadway campus at the Alice P. McDermott Convocation Center. Surrounded by family, friends, mentors and more, graduates from St. Anthony Catholic High School (SACHS) and Incarnate Word High School (IWHS) gathered to celebrate their high school graduations. A culmination of 12 years finally coming to a close, and the beginning of the next significant chapter on the horizon.
As each graduate crossed the ceremony stage, each student wore a proud smile as they received applause and cheers from their loved ones. Although what lies ahead for the SACHS and IWHS classes of 2026 remain uncertain, they will carry the faith, servantship and strength each school has instilled within them so they may continue to lead through Christ's teachings.
"Wishing our graduates success, happiness and blessings in all that comes next," expressed IWHS.
Congratulations 2026 graduates!
