WILMINGTON - Today, Governor Matt Meyer announced that his office is now accepting applications for its spring internship program.
Over fourteen weeks, interns will assist the Office of the Governor staff by serving Delaware residents and gaining knowledge about state government. Potential projects and responsibilities include drafting proclamations, tributes, and event memos; answering constituent calls; and attending events such as a cabinet speaker series and legislative hearings.
"We're excited to launch the latest round of our office's internship program, giving students from across Delaware critical knowledge about what it takes to manage the state," Governor Matt Meyer said. "We're looking for folks who understand the importance of public service, and we encourage all of those eligible to apply."
Rising and current undergraduate and graduate students are invited to apply. Applicants should contact their universities to receive credit for the internship. Please submit a resume, a writing sample, and 3 references to [email protected] by 5 pm on Friday, February 6th.
