Columbia Police respond to homicide on Range Line Street

At about 3:22 p.m. on Aug. 12, Columbia Police responded to the 1300 block of Range Line Street for a cardiac arrest call.

Upon arrival, officers believed the death to be suspicious. The investigation later revealed the death was a homicide. The victim was identified as Destiny Dunn, 37, of Kansas City, Missouri. Her next of kin has been notified.

Columbia Police arrested Nicholas Ayres, 35, of Crane, Missouri for domestic assault in the first-degree and murder in the second-degree.
