A Meeting of the CCAMTAC Steering Committee was Held in Bishkek
In 2026, the Kyrgyz Republic chairs the Steering Committee of the Caucasus, Central Asia, and Mongolia Regional Capacity Development Center (CCAMTAC).
On June 4-5, 2026, the regular meeting of the CCAMTAC Steering Committee was held in Bishkek. It was organized by the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic jointly with the CCAMTAC.
Representatives of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), CCAMTAC member states, and development partners participated in the meeting. The achievements and results of the CCAMTAC's activities were discussed, as well as the Center's priority areas for capacity development in member states through technical assistance and training, taking into account regional needs and emerging challenges.
The meeting also included a high-level panel discussion on the strategic priorities of the CCAMTAC, with the participation of Mr. Subir Lall, Deputy Director of the IMF's Middle East and Central Asia Department.
