Mackay kids invited to shine in Australian travel series

Council is excited to announce a new partnership with Kids Take Over TV, a vibrant and inspiring travel series where kids aged 8 to 12 become the stars of the show!

The upcoming Mackay season will shine a spotlight on some of the region's most exciting events and family-friendly attractions - all seen through the eyes of young, energetic local hosts.

It's a fresh and fun way to showcase Mackay to audiences across Australia, blending education, entertainment and adventure.

The search is on for confident Mackay kids to step in front of the camera and take over the screen!

No prior experience is necessary - just enthusiasm and a sense of fun.

Full training will be provided and will include learning how to present on camera and real-world production skills.

This is a fantastic opportunity for local kids to build confidence, develop new skills and play a starring role in promoting the Mackay region to families nationwide.
