Western Washington University's Civic Action Program will host a Bellingham City Council Candidate Forum on Tuesday, Oct. 29, at 6:30 p.m. in Academic Instructional Center West 210.

This event is free and open to the public, and will feature candidates running for Bellingham City Council and will include a moderated discussion followed by an open Q&A with students. The forum aims to give students and community members an opportunity to hear directly from local leaders about key issues shaping Bellingham's future, including housing, sustainability, and community development.

The event is part of WWU's ongoing efforts to increase civic engagement and student participation in local elections. By connecting students with candidates in an accessible, on-campus setting, the Civic Action Program hopes to highlight the importance of local government and empower young voters to make informed decisions.

All WWU students, faculty, and community members are encouraged to attend.
