Exports of goods in June 2026 amounted to EUR 274,0 million, increasing by 6,0% compared to May 2026 and by 18,7% compared to June 2025.
Exports of goods in January-June 2026, amounted to 1650,5 million EUR, which is 12,5% more than in the corresponding period of 2025.
Exports of domestic goods in January-June 2026 amounted to 1309,3 million EUR (79,3% of total exports), with 16,4% more than in the corresponding period of 2025, which influenced the increase of the total value of exports with 12,6%.
Reexports of foreign goods in January-June 2026 amounted to 341,2 million EUR (20,7% of total exports), or 0,3% less than in the corresponding period of 2025, which influenced the decrease of the total value of exports with 0,1%.
Exports of goods to the countries of the European Union (EU-27) in January-June 2026 totaled 1059,3 million EUR (12,7% more than in the corresponding period of 2025), accounting 64,2% of total exports, 0,2 percentage points more than in January-June 2025.
Exports of goods to CIS2 countries in January-June 2026 amounted to 104,8 million EUR (with 7,3% more than in the corresponding period of 2025), equivalent to a share of 6,3% in total exports, less with 0,4 percentage points compared to January-June 2025.
Imports of goods in June 2026 amounted to 813,6 million EUR, with 0,8% more compared to May 2026 and with 9,9% more compared to June 2025.
Imports of goods in January-June 2026, totaled EUR 4985,7 million, which is 6,5% more than in the corresponding period of 2025.
Imports of goods from the countries of the European Union (EU-27) in January-June 2026 amounted to 2751,9 million EUR (with 8,1% more compared to corresponding period of 2025), accounting for 55,2% of total imports, more with 0,8 percentage points compared to January-June 2025.
Imports of goods from CIS2 countries in January-June 2026 amounted to 145,3 million EUR (with 4,8% more than in the same period of 2025), equivalent to a share of 2,9% in total imports, less with 0,1 percentage points compared to January-June 2025.
The trade balance deficit in June 2026 was 539,6 million EUR, which is 8,8 million EUR (-1,6%) less than in May 2026, and with 30,2 million EUR (+5,9%) more compared to June 2025.
The considerable gap between exports and imports of goods led to the accumulation of a trade balance deficit amounting to 3335,2 million EUR in January-June 2026, which is 120,1 million EUR (+3,7%) more than the level recorded in the corresponding period of 2025.
In January-June 2026, the trade balance with the European Union (EU-27) recorded a deficit of 1692,6 million EUR, and with CIS countries - 40,5 million EUR, which is 86,7 million EUR (+5,4%) more, respectively with 0,5 million EUR (-1,2%) less, compared to the values recorded in the corresponding period of 2025.
