TRAFFIC ALERT - New Castle County - UPDATE Route 9 South of Port Penn to Close for a Month
The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) announces to motorists the closure of a section of Route 9 (St. Augustine Road) south of Port Penn. This is a 24/7 closure starting on Monday, November 10th and ending on Wednesday, December 10th. The road will be closed between Belts Road and 6th Street so crews can install 5" of porous pavement overlay along with new updated guardrail and curbing. (The original start date was October 27th.)
