Congressman Krishnamoorthi Responds to Devastating Punjab Floods

WASHINGTON - Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi (D-IL) today issued the following statement on the catastrophic flooding in Punjab:

"As Punjab faces its worst floods in three decades, a humanitarian crisis of staggering proportions has unfolded. Entire communities, livelihoods, and farms have been washed away. The United States must stand ready to support the Indian government's operations as it continues its rescue efforts and mobilizes robust assistance for affected farmers and families."
