The commercial airlines operating at the Colorado Springs Airport (COS) reported an increase in passenger traffic in September 2025, with 217,349 travelers passing through the terminal, an 8.7 percent increase compared to September 2024. Enplanements rose 8.9 percent year-over-year, while seat availability grew by 6.6 percent. The overall load factor for this period was 81.3 percent, up 1.7 percentage points from the same month last year, both Delta Air Lines and United Airlines recorded double-digit growth in enplanements. This growth corresponds with each carrier's significant increase in seat capacity and continued investment in the Colorado Springs market. All airlines serving COS showed a positive increase in passengers in comparison to September 2024.
COS remains focused on strategic, long-term growth through expanded air service offerings and airline partnerships, positioning the airport as a key travel hub for the Pikes Peak region.
