Say “I Do” at MU: ‘Ville Wedding Expo

The Office of Alumni Engagement, in collaboration with Conference Services and University Dining & Catering Services, will present the opportunity for wedding professionals and engaged couples to connect at an on-campus wedding expo. The 'Ville Wedding Expo - a curated showcase of local talent, creativity and wedding-day professionals - will take place on Nov. 9, 2025, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Student Memorial Center. Not everyone knows that couples can exchange vows by the pond and host their reception at the Bolger Conference Center in Gordinier Hall - all at a reasonable cost. "The Wedding Expo is designed to let alumni know that Millersville can be part of their big day while also bringing together photographers, caterers, florists and other local vendors to help them plan," says Director of Alumni Engagement Joshua Belice '08, '10M.

"We hear countless stories from Millersville alumni couples, many who met on campus and carry that connection forward in unique ways," says Belice, "from naming their children 'Miller' or 'Bard' to choosing names whose initials spell 'MU.' With so many couples tying their love stories back to Millersville, we wanted to create an event that celebrates that tradition while also showcasing the beautiful options our campus offers for weddings. We're excited to invite alumni and friends back to campus to celebrate love where so many of their stories began!"

Vendor fees are $20 for Millersville students, $35 for Millersville alumni and $50 for friends of the University.

The benefits of attending the expo as a vendor include direct access to engaged couples, business promotion at a location with high traffic, face-to-face connections and networking opportunities.

Ideal vendors include photographers and videographers, florists, DJs and live musicians, event planners, caterers, bakeries, hair and makeup artists, food trucks, venues, travel agents, calligraphers and stationers, formalwear and accessories, decor and rental companies, local artisans and gift makers.

The 'Ville Wedding Expo is open to all alumni and friends of Millersville University to attend. The event is free for all attendees; however, registration is encouraged to receive important updates and be eligible for giveaways.
