Students checking their status today must know the post-allotment steps, which will take place from October 7 to October 9, 2026 (up to 3:00 PM for self-verification and 5:00 PM for reporting).

Important Post-Allotment Guidelines for Candidates

1. Auto-Freeze Mandatory Rule: Candidates who get allotted a seat as per their first three preferences in CAP Round 2 will have their seat Auto-Freezed automatically. They must pay the online seat acceptance fee through their login and report to the institute; such students cannot participate in further CAP rounds.

2. First-Time Seat Allotment: Applicants who get a seat for the first time in Round 2 need to complete self-verification online and pay the acceptance fee through candidate login.

3. Betterment Option: Candidates allotted options other than their top 3 preferences and wanting a better college in Round 3 must choose the "Not Freeze / Betterment" option and pay the acceptance fee online to hold their current seat.

4. Final Reporting: Those accepting seats must visit their assigned college with original certificates and pay tuition fees before October 9, 2026 (5:00 PM) to avoid seat cancellation.
