Sen. Ossoff Statement on San Diego Mosque Shooting

Atlanta, Ga. - U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff today released the following statement.

"I express my deepest sympathy and condolences to the families of those tragically murdered yesterday at the Islamic Center of San Diego and pray for a swift recovery of those who were injured in the attack.

"I stand with Georgia's Muslim-American community and strongly denounce Islamophobia and bigotry that targets Muslims in the United States.

"My office remains available as a resource to connect the Muslim community with Federal law enforcement resources as needed for any extra support or protection."
