CEO Akifumi Morinaka Speaks at “KYOTO DAY & KYOTO INNOVATION CONNECT 2026”

Rege Nephro Co., Ltd. ("Rege Nephro") delivered a pitch presentation given by CEO Akifumi Morinaka at "KYOTO DAY & KYOTO INNOVATION CONNECT 2026," a networking event co-hosted by Kyoto University Innovation Capital Co., Ltd. and the Office of Institutional Advancement and Communication, Kyoto University, on October 6, 2026.

This event was held to showcase cutting-edge biotech seeds originating from Kyoto University as well as startups backed by Kyoto University Innovation Capital, aiming to foster collaboration with frontrunners in next-generation drug discovery and biotechnology. The event drew numerous key industry stakeholders, including representatives from pharmaceutical companies, corporate business development and CVC teams, financial institutions, venture capital firms, government agencies, and academia.

During the "Startup Presentations" session, Rege Nephro participated as a featured presenter. CEO Akifumi Morinaka delivered a presentation highlighting the development progress of its pipeline in drug discovery and regenerative medicine for kidney diseases utilizing iPS cell technology, along with future business expansion plans.
