The prior owner of PurSteam, Rapid Medical, Inc. of Miami, Florida, has not agreed to conduct a recall for the white PurSteam Elite Travel Steamer model PS-510 and white PurSteam Mighty Lil Steamer model PS-550 purchased on or before November 30, 2020, or the black PurSteam Mighty Lil Steamer model PS-550 purchased on any date. The PurSteam Mighty Lil Steamer model PS-550 comes in black and in white. There is an oblong-shaped opening for the steam vents and the "PurSteam" logo is printed below the water reservoir window. Both steamer models have labels on the bottom with the model number and the manufacture date (date code), usually in the YYMM format.
