Jefferson Street water outage and road closure for water main repair
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. - Clarksville Gas & Water has turned off water service on Jefferson Street for water main leak repair work. The following streets and roads will be affected.
- Jefferson Street (N 1st Street to N 2nd Street)
- Wilmac Street
Low water pressure possible for the vicinity during the work.
Jefferson Street will be closed from N 1st Street to N 2nd Street. Traffic will be detoured to N 1st Street and N 2nd Street to avoid the work zone. Motorists are advised to slow down and be alert to workers and their equipment.
The water main repair work is anticipated to be finished, water service restored and the road reopened by approximately 3:30 p.m.
