State Representative Jodi Salvo (R-Bolivar) announced today that the OneOhio Recovery Foundation has launched a new statewide round of opioid settlement grant funding, making up to $45.7 million available to support prevention, treatment, and recovery efforts across Ohio.
Regional Grant Cycle 2 invites organizations working to address substance use disorders to prepare for the Funding Inquiry window, which opened January 14, 2026. The full Request for Proposals is available on the OneOhio Grant Headquarters webpage at OneOhioFoundation.com/Grants.
"Tuscarawas County has already benefited from OneOhio funding invested in family-centered services supporting children and families impacted by substance use," said Salvo. "In the first grant cycle, the Tuscarawas County Family & Children First Council and Tuscarawas County Job and Family Services received support to strengthen this work. This next round is an opportunity to build on that momentum and bring additional resources to community-based efforts close to home."
This round advances the momentum of the first grant cycle which distributed more than $45 million to over 240 locally driven projects across Ohio. Those grants supported youth prevention, school-based mental health programs, recovery housing, treatment expansion, post-overdose outreach, and workforce initiatives in the behavioral health field.
To support applicants, the Foundation will host several webinars. Additional event details will be posted at OneOhioFoundation.com/Grants.
Key Dates for Regional Grant Cycle 2
The OneOhio Recovery Foundation is a nonprofit, charitable organization created at the direction of Ohio's state and local leaders to distribute 55 percent of the funds our state will receive from the pharmaceutical industry as part of the agreed-upon Distributor settlement reached as a consequence of the national opioid epidemic. The Foundation works with local stakeholders to support their substance misuse prevention, treatment and recovery efforts and invest funds to support these efforts for Ohioans into the future.
