The Governing Council of the Bulgarian National Bank adopted a decision to apply the ‘Guidelines on Environmental Scenario Analysis’ (EBA/GL/2025/04)

At its meeting, the Governing Council of the Bulgarian National Bank adopted a decision to apply the 'Guidelines on Environmental Scenario Analysis' (EBA/GL/2025/04), issued by the European Banking Authority and published on its official website, which apply from 1 January 2027.
The Guidelines were issued in accordance with the EBA's mandates under Article 87a, paragraph 5, points (a), (b) and (c) of Directive 2013/36/EU and on the basis of Article 16 of Regulation (EU) No 1093/2010.
