Danielle Campbell new Development director for medicine, health sciences

Danielle Campbell has joined Campbell University as director of Development for the Jerry M. Wallace School of Osteopathic Medicine and the College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

Campbell, who began work Sept. 21, will lead fundraising efforts and focus on building meaningful relationships with alumni, friends and donors, says John Lattieri, vice president for Institutional Advancement.

"She will identify new philanthropic opportunities and work to secure major gifts that support student success, academic excellence and the continued growth of both schools."

An avid reader and a passionate volunteer with Corral Riding Academy, Campbell says she's excited by the opportunity to help create a future for Campbell University and its students.

"I would like to learn what has been successful at other schools and how we can replicate at Campbell," she says.

A graduate of the University of Toledo, Campbell brings more than 25 years of experience in sales leadership, business development, marketing and relationship management, Lattieri says. "Throughout her career, she has built and coached high-performing teams, developed successful growth strategies, and cultivated strong partnerships across a variety of industries."

Campbell's background includes leadership roles with organizations such as Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions, Nexstar Media Group and Triangle Business Journal, where she consistently drove revenue growth, expanded client relationships and developed innovative engagement strategies, Lattieri says.
