MRF-D SPMAGTF Exercise Capital Reach

U.S. Marines with Marine Rotational Force - Darwin 26 train alongside Royal Australian Navy personnel on the HMAS Canberra during Exercise Capital Reach at sea, Aug. 4-8, 2026. MRF - D is an annual six-month rotational deployment to enhance interoperability with the Australian Defence Force and allies and partners and provide a forward-postured crisis response force in the Indo-Pacific. Capital Reach is a training exercise utilizing Australian ship-to-shore landing craft, bilateral force transportation of heavy tactical vehicles and personnel to shore to establish a logistics node aboard the HMAS Canberra.
