Final Fiscal Year 2027 Budget, FY2026-2028 Financial Plan and 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Plan are now available

The City of Iowa City final FY2027 budget and FY2026-2028 financial plan, adopted April 21, 2026, is now available to review on the City's website at www.icgov.org/budget. This report provides information on the City's financial plan as it relates to the City Council's Strategic Plan, revenues, expenditures, and major capital improvement projects budgeted for the upcoming fiscal year.

The City's 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Plan - a guide for the City's issuance of bonded debt and for the construction and replacement of City buildings and infrastructure - is also available on the budget page.
