Monmouth Matters Podcast Releases First Episode

Monmouth University President Patrick Leahy, Ed.D., and Matt Harmon, Ed.D., senior specialist professor in the Department of Communication, dropped the first episode of the new Monmouth Matters podcast on Sept. 26. The series, which replaces Leahy and Harmon's previous podcast originally developed during the COVID-19 pandemic, will feature student involvement in the production of its monthly episodes.

In this episode, Leahy and Harmon recap summer projects and improvements across campus while celebrating the strongest incoming class in the University's history. They additionally discuss continued institutional efforts to expand access for first-generation and low-income students, Monmouth's positive financial standing, the 50th anniversary of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run," and the importance of commemorating the 9/11 anniversary on campus.

The Monmouth Matters podcast is produced in the WMCX 88.9 studios on campus. Listen to the full episode.
