Washington, DC (February 28, 2026) - The Republican Jewish Coalition released the following statement applauding President Donald J. Trump for taking decisive action against the Ayatollah's barbaric regime in Iran, which has the blood of thousands of Americans on its hands.

On the eve of the Jewish holiday of Purim, the Republican Jewish Coalition applauds the resolute leadership of President Donald J. Trump and his team to eliminate once and for all modern-day Haman.

We also thank and salute Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for standing shoulder-to-shoulder with the United States in this operation.

President Trump was clear in his historic State of the Union address: the United States "will never allow the world's number one sponsor of terror to have a nuclear weapon…No nation should ever doubt America's resolve."

In his first term, President Trump tore up the disastrous Obama-Biden nuclear deal, imposed maximum pressure, crushing economic sanctions, and took out blood-stained IRGC commander Qasem Soleimani. In his second term, President Trump launched an unprecedented operation to obliterate Iran's nuclear enrichment capabilities in Operation Midnight Hammer.

Today, after 47 years of the Islamic Republic's repressive regime spreading misery and death throughout the world, President Trump's decision to launch Operation Epic Fury will be carved into the stone of history for all time.

After decades of weakness and failed appeasement-most notably by Barack Obama in 2009 when he infamously and shamefully left the Iranian people behind to fend for themselves against the mullahs' barbarity-President Donald J. Trump is taking decisive action to totally defeat the Islamic Republic of Iran.
