PPB Arrests Robbery Suspect in Old Town

A robbery suspect was apprehended in Downtown Portland and arrested for Robbery in the First Degree, Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.

On Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 11:33 p.m., Central Precinct officers responded to a robbery with a gun involving two individuals near Northwest 2nd Avenue and Northwest Davis Street. Officers quickly obtained a detailed suspect description and within ten minutes located him two blocks away. He was taken into custody. The suspect was in possession of a gun with obliterated serial numbers.
No injuries were reported.
The suspect, 37 year-old Anthony Santiago Rivera, was booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center for Robbery in the First Degree, Felon in Possession of a Firearm and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm.
