Experience the Best of Rutgers Day 2026



NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (April 21, 2026) - Rutgers Day returns on Saturday, April 25, offering residents a front-row seat to the university's diverse academic and creative world. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the celebration will span the College Avenue and Cook/Douglass campuses in New Brunswick, as well as the Busch Campus in Piscataway.

This annual tradition features hundreds of interactive programs, hands-on exhibits, and live performances designed for visitors of all ages. Throughout the day, attendees can:

  • Explore cutting-edge research demonstrations and academic showcases.
  • Engage with a wide variety of student organizations.
  • Enjoy family-friendly activities and live entertainment.
  • Sample local flavors from various food vendors across the campuses.
The event is a perfect opportunity for the New Brunswick community to connect with the university's students and faculty in a festive, educational atmosphere. The festivities kick off with a parade along Seminary Place at 10:30 a.m. by members of the Marching Scarlet Knights.
