NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the PLANNING COMMISSION of the City of Pittsburg will conduct a public hearing in the City Council Chamber at City Hall on September 22, 2026, at 7:00 PM concerning the following item(s):

Diamond Auto Body, Use Permit; AP-26-0086 (UP)

This is a Public Hearing Notice for a Use Permit to establish an autobody business within a 2,200-square foot (sq. ft.) space (Suite E) within an existing, 9,440 sq. ft. commercial warehouse located at 660 Garcia Avenue. The business operations are proposed to include vehicle restoration including, but not limited to, body and fender work, painting, detailing, and minor repair to radiators, AC condensers, and lighting systems. The applicant proposes onsite welding as part of the radiator repair services. The subject property is located within the IP (Industrial Park) District. Assessor's Parcel No. 088-392-008.

Environmental Determination: The project is categorically exempt from the requirements of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) under Article 19, Categorical Exemptions, Class 1, Section 15301, "Existing Facilities".
