On March 24, U.S. First Lady Melania Trump hosted the "Fostering the Future Together" summit at the U.S. Department of State, where Armenia's Ambassador to the United States, Narek Mkrtchyan, represented Armenia.
The following day, March 25, the summit moved to the White House. Over the two-day sessions, roundtable discussions were held with the participation of the First Lady, U.S. government officials, representatives of various delegations, and technology companies, including Palantir, OpenAI, Adobe, Google, Meta, Zoom, and xAI, to coordinate efforts on children's digital literacy, online safety, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence.
Ambassador Mkrtchyan attended the two-day discussions and visited the Tech Expo, where he explored interactive demonstrations presented by American technology companies.
As part of the event, the Ambassador also had brief opportunities to meet with Michael Kratsios, Chief Science and Technology Advisor to the U.S. President; Michael Waltz, US Ambassador to the United Nations; Brigitte Macron, First Lady of France; Marc Beckman, Exclusive Senior Advisor and Producer for the U.S. First Lady; and other summit participants.
