The City of Southfield is now accepting nominations for the 2026 Community Pride Awards, an annual program that recognizes residents and organizations who go above and beyond to enhance the beauty of the community.
The awards celebrate outstanding beautification efforts across the city in a variety of categories, including residential homes, condominiums, apartments, small and large businesses, places of worship, neighborhood entranceways, entire neighborhoods, and well maintained properties. Whether it is a vibrant garden, a thoughtfully landscaped business, or a welcoming neighborhood entrance, these efforts help make Southfield a more beautiful place to live, work, and visit.
A team of judges will visit all nominated properties in mid July to evaluate entries and select the winners. Honorees will be recognized by the Mayor and City Council at an awards ceremony in September.
The program is coordinated by the City of Southfield Community Relations Department, in collaboration with the Southfield Parks and Garden Club and supported by the City's Total Living Commission, to promote beautification efforts throughout the community.
Residents are encouraged to submit nominations for homeowners, neighborhoods, condominiums, apartments, businesses, and places of worship. Self nominations are also welcome, and multiple submissions are allowed, though a separate form must be completed for each property
Nominations must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2026.
