Flags at Half Staff by order of Gov. Brian Kemp in observance of Memorial Day

By Executive Order of Governor Brian Kemp: flags on all state buildings and grounds ordered lowered to half-staff

Now, THEREFORE, IN HONOR AND AS A MARK OF RESPECT FOR THE MEMORY OF THOSE WHO HAVE MADE THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE IN DEFENSE OF OUR NATION, PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY VESTED IN ME AS GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF GEORGIA, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED

That on Memorial Day, Monday, May 25, 2026, in accordance with 4 U.S.C. § 7(m), the flag of the United States of America and the flag of the great State of Georgia shall be flown at half-staff on all state buildings and grounds until noon and then raised to the top of the staff. This 21st day of May 2026.
