TRAFFIC ALERT - New Castle County - Old Wilmington Road Closures for Hazardous Tree Removal

The Delaware Department of Transportation (DelDOT) will be closing portions of Old Wilmington Road November 3 and November 4 for hazardous tree removal. See the closure schedule below.

November 3
Old Wilmington Road between Valley Road and Meeting House Road, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Old Wilmington Road between McGovern Road and Valley Road, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

November 4
Old Wilmington Road between Yorklyn Road and Sharpless Road, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
Old Wilmington Road between Mitchell Road and Brackenville Road, from 1:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Old Wilmington Road between Sharpless Road and Mitchell Road, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Motorists are encouraged to follow the posted detour and use caution while traveling through work zones.
