Based in New Delhi, India, Consolidated Coin Company Pvt Ltd is a leading integrated manufacturer and supplier of copper and copper alloy strips and other various alloys.
ReMA News spoke with Kavita Rawat, General Manager at Consolidated Coin Company PVt about the company, how they decided to join ReMA, and what they're excited about as a new ReMA member.
Consolidated Coin Company Pvt. Ltd. is an integrated manufacturer of currency coin blanks to various banks and mints around the world. In 2002, the company acquired the complete foundry and copper alloy strip-making division from British Aerospace System (BAE) system/U.K.
Today, our strips are used in a wide range of industries, especially for meeting the global demand for case cups, coinage, the automobile industry, etc. The variety of strips, the high quality and the degree of technological and metallurgical sophistication have positioned the company as a leading supplier in India and abroad.
One of the major goals for my company is to get a good, regular supplier of recycled copper and copper alloy monthly at a volume of 200 - 300 MT per month.
We've known about ReMA for many years, back when the association was ISRI. My Managing Director has attended a ReMA conference in the U.S., and recently we've been active in buying recycled copper and copper alloy scrap from the U.S., so we thought of registering as a ReMA member.
What excites us most about becoming a new ReMA member is the opportunity to network with industry professionals. We're looking to connect with new recycled copper and copper alloy warehouses, so they learn more about our company and we can offer them materials. We want ReMA members to know that our company is a buyer of recycled copper and copper alloys as part of our ongoing procurement strategy.
The recycled materials industry has been moving forward and will likely continue to make strong leaps and bounds in the next several years whether that's sustainability, environmental responsibility, or incorporating more artificial intelligence into operations. As a manufacturer of recycled copper alloys, we're excited to continue contributing to the recycled materials industry.
