This Spring, we introduced a new way to use Yelp with Yelp Assistant, our AI chatbot that provides reliable local answers and a seamless way to get things done. Today, we're building on that momentum with our Fall Product Release, announcing more than 30 new features, updates, and integrations - all designed to help you discover, decide, and get things done faster and easier than ever, while giving business owners smarter tools to grow and succeed.

The next evolution of Yelp Assistant is more personalized, integrates with OpenTable, enables customizable reminders, and more. We're rolling out a new AI voice agent that you can use to call restaurants to check live wait times, and My Lists lets you easily save, rank, and share your favorite spots. For business owners, we're introducing new AI tools designed to boost efficiency and close more leads, including Smart Lead Reply that instantly responds to and qualifies new inquiries, smarter off-platform ad targeting, and new booking and lead management integrations with ServiceTitan, Housecall Pro, Jobber, and Workiz.

The Smarter, More Personalized Yelp Assistant

Today we're introducing a series of Yelp Assistant updates, including a new integration with OpenTable, the ability to set customized reminders, more personalized recommendations, and even smarter interactions. In addition to its dedicated tab, you can now also access Yelp Assistant from even more places in the app, including search pages and the search bar on iOS and Android.

Book instantly with OpenTable and skip the line with Yelp Waitlist

Reserve tables at even more restaurants with OpenTable, now available in Yelp Assistant. With access to tens of thousands of OpenTable restaurants across the U.S., just ask for nearby recommendations, like 'kid friendly Italian spots,' or for help booking a table at a specific restaurant, and you'll be prompted to select a date, time, and party size within Yelp Assistant on iOS. Booking confirmation and reservation changes are handled directly on OpenTable.

You can also now join the Yelp Waitlist directly within the chat at eligible restaurants to get in line before you arrive. Once you've joined a waitlist, Yelp Assistant will monitor your status and send you updates when your table is ready. Now, through integrations with Yelp Reservations, Yelp Waitlist, OpenTable, DoorDash, and Grubhub, Yelp Assistant is your one-stop destination for restaurant booking and ordering across more than half a million restaurants.

More personalized with every conversation

Yelp Assistant is getting smarter and more tailored to you with new customizable reminders, more personalized responses, and chat history to help you better plan and discover.

The new Keep Me Posted feature lets you schedule reminders with curated recommendations right when you need them. Simply ask Yelp Assistant to send you new date night ideas every Wednesday, a list of nearby dog-friendly hikes once a month, or ongoing check-ins about your list of home projects, and it will keep you on track. Keep Me Posted will send your scheduled reminders via push and in app notifications. You can revise them or turn them off in your Yelp settings or by simply asking Yelp Assistant.

Yelp Assistant is also becoming more personalized, with new updates rolling out that use your Yelp activity - including past Yelp Assistant conversations and review history - to suggest relevant follow-up prompts. If you've recently chatted with Yelp Assistant about vegetarian restaurants and reviewed dog-friendly coffee shops, Yelp Assistant might ask if you're interested in vegetarian-friendly places that welcome dogs. Soon, it will draw from your prior Yelp searches, preferences, saved businesses, and other app activity for even more personalized answers. You'll also see timely and trending prompts when you open Yelp Assistant, with more personalized prompts rolling out over time, tailored to events and activities near you.

Yelp Assistant now saves your recent chats, summarized by topic, so you can quickly reopen any conversation - accessible by tapping the menu icon. You'll see chats from the past 30 days, with full history available in the coming weeks.

Smarter responses with more real-time information

Yelp's authentic, in-depth community content - hundreds of millions of reviews, photos, and detailed business information contributed by real people - is what makes Yelp Assistant uniquely reliable. Now it layers in real-time weather context to make recommendations more timely and practical. If rain is in the forecast, Yelp Assistant may recommend skipping the patio-only spot you had in mind, or help you determine the best day for the hike you're planning. The combination of authentic community knowledge and in-the-moment updates means Yelp Assistant is always ready to help you make the best choice, right when it matters. More real-world, timely data will come to Yelp Assistant soon.

Beyond richer recommendations, a new interactive map displays relevant businesses near you, quick replies with improved follow-up questions keep the conversation going, and action buttons for businesses make it easy to call, join a waitlist, reserve a table, or visit the website whenever you're ready to connect with a business. Continued improvements to response quality, and better support if you have questions about your Yelp account, enhance the overall experience. And if your priorities shift mid-conversation, Yelp Assistant adapts in real time, so you never have to start over.

Effortless scheduling with more service professionals

We're making it easier than ever to turn your to-do list into completed projects. We've integrated new scheduling and booking tools for service professionals, and expanded our Calendly integration for professionals with connected accounts, so you can book directly with plumbers, electricians, HVAC professionals, cleaners, and more, from Yelp Assistant and search.

When a project requires multiple professionals, you can now submit quote requests for up to five different projects in a single conversation. Selling your home and moving at the same time? Reach out to a mover, deep cleaner, landscaper, and painter all at once.

Check for Me: an AI agent that checks restaurant wait times for you

Ever wish you could check a restaurant's wait time without having to call? With our new Check for Me feature, an AI phone agent calls the restaurant on your behalf and updates you within minutes. Simply tap "Check wait time now," enter your party size and phone number, and our AI agent handles the rest. You'll receive a text message with the latest wait time, so you can decide when - and where - to dine, all without the hassle of picking up the phone or waiting on hold.

Check for Me is rolling out in the coming months on eligible restaurant business pages and Yelp Assistant when walk-ins are possible in the U.S. on iOS.

Save, rank, and share the places you love with My Lists

My Lists is a new way to curate, organize, and share your personal collection of local favorites on Yelp. Easily create two types of lists, "Been Here" for the places you've visited and "Want to Go" for the spots you're excited to try next. In the dedicated new My Lists tab in the app, you can filter your lists by location, category, and cuisine, reorder them, add notes to each business, and share them - or a filtered view of it on iOS - with friends via text, WhatsApp, on social, and more. Your saved businesses will also surface in applicable search results with a save icon as the map pin, so you can instantly spot places already on your lists while browsing.

Next month, Yelp will begin surfacing weekly personalized recommendations based on your "Been Here" lists and rankings - appearing in both your home feed and within the My Lists tab. The more places you add and rank, the more tailored your recommendations become.

Your existing collections - now called lists - and lists you follow are also accessible in the My Lists tab. Later this year, these lists will get a new modernized look and map view, and next month a unified "Lists" section will bring together your lists, lists you follow, your friends' lists, personalized recommendations, and curated lists of local favorites in one place - all easily searchable and filterable. Add businesses to your lists from the quick-save icon in the home feed, the save button on any business page, or from the My Lists tab. The new My Lists tab is available on iOS and Android, with all lists also viewable on desktop.

Qualify Leads and Win More Jobs with Smart Lead Reply

Next month, we're rolling out Smart Lead Reply, a new agentic product that responds to customers, vets leads, and helps service professionals win more business. When a consumer submits a project through Request a Quote, Smart Lead Reply will step in right away - using AI to respond directly within the message thread and engage leads instantly, reducing back-and-forth so business owners can focus on the work that matters most.

Smart Lead Reply draws on information that's already in their Yelp for Business account and Yelp business page to automatically answer customer questions, gather project details, and qualify leads. It's also customizable - business owners can add a scheduling link, specify services offered, set pricing or promos, indicate questions to ask, and add preferences for how conversations should be handled. Once the lead is qualified, it will share the scheduling link for consumers to book directly within the professional's existing calendar management system. Every conversation is logged in their Yelp inbox, with a notification to review the qualified lead, and pick up where the agent left off.

Smart Lead Reply will be available in the Yelp Business Owner Account for $30 per month to businesses in eligible categories that use Request a Quote, including movers, roofers, plumbers, home cleaners, contractors, electricians, and more.

Manage Leads and Schedule Jobs, All in One Place

We're making it easier to schedule and manage leads without switching between platforms. For professionals who use services operating systems ServiceTitan or Housecall Pro for scheduling, customers can now book appointments directly from Yelp. The scheduling link appears on the business page, in search listings, within Yelp Assistant, and in Yelp messages after a quote request is sent.

Through new lead management integrations with Jobber and Workiz, Request a Quote leads from Yelp will flow directly into the business's platform of choice, complete with full job details. This enables faster responses and seamless management of Yelp leads alongside the rest of the pipeline in one place.

Managing leads at scale is getting easier, too. For multi-location businesses, a redesigned aggregated leads center consolidates every Request a Quote lead from all locations into a single, full-featured inbox. No more juggling multiple logins and inboxes - teams can now view, organize, and respond to every lead in one place.

Better Optimize and Measure Your Brand Advertising Results

We're helping brands get more out of their advertising with new, enhanced capabilities for Yelp Audiences ad campaigns and Yelp's Conversion API, making ads more targeted, relevant, and easier to measure.

Yelp Audiences ad campaigns now feature intent-based custom creative, matching each consumer's past intent on Yelp with the most relevant brand creative to drive better results for advertisers across the web. For example, if a consumer recently searched for salads on Yelp, they might see an ad featuring a brand's salad when browsing the web. By selecting from a wide range of creative variations to serve the right ad at the right moment, intent-based custom creative makes every impression more personalized and effective, driving stronger advertising engagement and higher ROI. Plus, measuring ad impact just got easier with our new Shopify Conversions app. Brand advertisers can easily connect Yelp's Conversion API to their Shopify store, linking Yelp ad clicks and views to purchases, so they can see exactly how their ads are driving results.
