The cost of equipment, materials, wholesale power, and transmission continues to rise across the utility industry. While these increases affect all electric utilities, Central Lincoln works hard to keep rates as affordable as possible and continually looks for opportunities to reduce costs, including finding new suppliers when practical and responsibly extending the useful life of existing equipment whenever possible.
Effective July 1, residential electric rates increased by 3%.
This adjustment helps ensure we can continue providing the safe, reliable service our customers depend on every day. Even after this increase, our residential rates remain among the lowest in Oregon and below national averages.
