(Washington, D.C.) After sustained efforts and high-level engagement, Congressman James Moylan announces a significant breakthrough in resolving the shipping disruption affecting Guam and the CNMI under Executive Order 14324.
As of today, all mail and packages from Guam and the CNMI (distributed through Guam) have successfully arrived in Honolulu, indicating that federal agencies are taking meaningful action.
This progress results from Congressman Moylan's persistent advocacy for transparency and swift resolution. He has maintained ongoing communication with USPS leadership, Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and White House officials-urging for clear guidance and operational solutions.
"Our message has been clear: Guam cannot be treated as an afterthought. We've followed up relentlessly until we saw real movement-today, Guam's mail is finally on the move," said Congressman Moylan.
USPS reports that operational adjustments are underway to restore outbound shipments, while CBP is finalizing logistics and enforcement protocols related to the Executive Order. Congressman Moylan continues to stay in close contact with both agencies to ensure reliable, long-term service.
Existing incoming mail-including air shipments and pharmaceuticals-remains unaffected, as do outgoing letters and flats.
"This issue is about more than just mail. It's about fairness, transparency, and the basic expectation of equitable service," Moylan added. "We will continue monitoring the situation until everything is fully resolved."
Further updates will be provided as USPS and CBP implement their plans.
