Geisinger Pharmacy now open in Buckhorn

DANVILLE, Pa. - Picking up over-the-counter medications and filling a prescription is now easier at Geisinger Buckhorn with the opening of a new retail Geisinger Pharmacy location at 240 Mall Blvd., Suite 104.

Because the retail pharmacy is inside the multi-specialty clinic, patients can pick up their prescriptions and over-the-counter medications before heading home from an appointment.

This site will also provide remote Meds to Beds services to Geisinger Bloomsburg Hospital and Geisinger Danville Behavioral Health. The Meds to Beds program delivers medication to patients being discharged before they leave the hospital, eliminating the need to visit a pharmacy on their way home. Meds to Beds will be implemented at a later date.

Geisinger Pharmacy offers prescription discounts and price-matching on medications found at larger retail stores without any membership fees, including over-the-counter drugs. Pharmacists are available to answer any medication-related questions patients have about their prescriptions.
