This winter, all members of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities - including Marquette - are participating in a new collaborative marketing campaign to promote the values and benefits of a Jesuit higher education.
Through a new website, series of videos housed on jesuiteducated.com, and paid advertising, prospective students, parents and guidance counselors have a new, centralized gateway to learn about Jesuit colleges and universities in the United States, Belize and Canada.
The website features campus profiles and links to all member schools' websites; a comprehensive map; information on upcoming Jesuit college fairs; and firsthand perspectives from graduates who share how the values and ideals of a Jesuit education have impacted their professional careers and enriched their personal lives.
"Marquette was the place where I grew - both educationally and personally. This is where I learned who I am and what is important to me."
Devinne Love, Comm '18Marquette is one of 28 Jesuit colleges and universities that comprise the AJCU, a national organization that represents Jesuit higher education among its various constituencies; provides a forum for the exchange of information and experiences in Jesuit higher education; and encourages and facilitates collaborative initiatives among its member institutions.
Today, more than 2 million people worldwide are alumni of U.S. Jesuit colleges and universities. With a focus on critical thinking, leadership, academic excellence and scholarship, a Jesuit, Catholic higher education helps shape people "for and with others." Its 500-year-old academic tradition founded by St. Ignatius Loyola prepares students to lead lives of purpose and service.
