New Pickleball Courts Now Open at Hart Park

The City of Orange will hosted a ribbon cutting on May 6 at 5:00 p.m. to celebrate the opening of new pickleball courts and a fitness circuit at Hart Park.

The project features 10 lighted courts, shade, seating, and outdoor fitness equipment, expanding recreational opportunities for the community. Attendees are invited to stay after the ceremony to take part in the first games.

The majority of the project was funded through a $2 million Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), secured through the office of Lou Correa.

Whether you're a longtime pickleball player or looking to try something new, the City of Orange invites the community to come out, enjoy the new amenities at Hart Park, and connect with neighbors in one of the city's newest gathering spaces.
