City Hosts Free Ice Cream Socials for Older Americans Month

The City of Reno invites seniors to free ice cream socials happening throughout May to celebrate Older Americans Month. In addition to free ice cream from Super Swirl, these events will have complimentary paper shredding services sponsored by AARP and American Document Destruction.

"I'm looking forward to the ice cream socials this month, including in Ward 4, as part of the City's ongoing effort to support our senior community," said Ward 4 Councilmember Meghan Ebert. "These activities provide important opportunities for socialization in a fun and engaging way, as well as a chance to get rid of unwanted documents securely, thanks to the free paper shredding services available."
