Kansas City maintenance work for Nov. 10 - 14

LEES SUMMIT, MO - The Missouri Department of Transportation will be performing maintenance work throughout the Kansas City region from November 10 - 14. All work is weather permitting.

JACKSON COUNTY

  • Interstate 70 westbound ramp to Missouri Highway 291 northbound and MO-291 NB ramp to 39th St.: ramps closed on Thursday, November 13 for pavement repair.
  • Westbound I-70 to Missouri Highway 291 northbound: right lane closed on Thursday, November 13 for pavement repair.
  • Interstate 70 eastbound from Manchester to Sterling Ave: intermittent lane closures on Tuesday, November 11 and 12 for barrier wall repair.

JOHNSON COUNTY

  • Missouri Route MM from 400 NE to 951 NE: closed on Wednesday, November 12 for culvert repair.

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. They can also be short term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
