Introducing G2’s 2026 Executive Advisory Board

The B2B software world is at an inflection point, with generative AI reshaping the way software is researched, purchased, and sold. In fact, more than half of B2B software buyers now start their research in an AI chatbot versus on a traditional Google search, compared to 29% a year prior.

In this new 'answer economy,' trust is the new currency. At G2, we're leaning into this shift, providing the trust signals that both humans and AI systems rely on.

Our acquisition earlier this year of software discovery and recommendation platforms Capterra, Software Advice, and GetApp from Gartner further cemented our position as the most trusted source of data on B2B software. By continuously introducing innovations, we remain steadfast in our mission to help companies reach their potential and succeed in the age of AI.

Guiding us on this path is our Executive Advisory Board (EAB). This group, which comprises some of the world's best marketing and go-to-market leaders, has been crucial in helping to shape our strategy with thoughtful input and expert insights on market trends.

Today, I'm excited to share that we've established our 2026 EAB member group. As G2's CMO and EAB executive sponsor, I'm proud to work directly with this group, receiving candid feedback and sharp perspectives to ensure we're delivering the best possible experiences to our customers. We're fresh off our first meetup, and the energy in the (virtual) room was palpable. This group came ready to dig in, and we left the conversation energized for what's to come.
