Newark, NJ (May 18, 2026) - Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and Children's Hospital of New Jersey, an RWJBarnabas Health facility, hosted its 12th Annual Women's Health Day "Healthy Women, Healthy Families" at the Newark Airport Marriott Hotel on May 16, 2026.

Every year, Women's Health Day provides a forum for our patients and community members to learn, grow and share vital health information with their loved ones, said Darrell K. Over five hundred women attended the expert panel discussion on women's health and wellness moderated by Atiya Jaha-Rashidi, MHA, RN, Chief Equity Officer and Vice President of Community Relations at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and Children's Hospital of New Jersey.

Healthcare professionals from Newark Beth Israel Medical Center provided free screenings and health information at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center's 12th Annual Women's Health Day on May 16, 2026, at the Newark Liberty Airport Marriott where over five hundred women attended.

The panel delivered advice and answered attendees' questions on a range of topics from heart health, to weight management, cancer care, behavioral health concerns, and chronic disease management. Attendees also participated in interactive wellness activities, fitness demonstrations, and vital health screenings-such as blood pressure, glucose, and pulmonary function testing.

They also recharged with hands-on wellness activities like yoga, massage, meditation, mindfulness, Zumba and self-care bingo. And a curated marketplace of local vendors featured unique products designed for self-care.
