Arrests made after late night lounge robbery

Two suspects were taken into custody shortly after a late-night Centennial neighborhood robbery. Just before midnight on Sunday, Sept. 21, Gresham officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at a lounge in the 2400 block of SE 182nd Avenue.

A responding officer spotted the suspect vehicle traveling eastbound on Division Street. When the officer attempted to stop it at Division Street and Norman Avenue, two suspects ran off and the driver fled in the vehicle.

Officers quickly apprehended one of the fleeing suspects, identified as Dante Jumpingbull, 35, of Portland. The second suspect, identified as Zackary Landreth, 31, of Portland, ran into a nearby neighborhood. A perimeter was established, and a Portland Police K9 unit assisted with the search. During the track, another man, William Hicks, was seen leaving the perimeter and was detained. While not involved in the robbery, Hicks was found to have an outstanding for his arrest.

The K9 track led officers to Landreth after a trail of cash was located. Landreth was taken into custody with large amounts of cash in his pockets.

Jumpingbull and Landreth were lodged at jail on robbery charges. Hicks was lodged on his warrant.

Investigators are not releasing information about the vehicle or driver at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call Gresham Police tip line at 503-618-3066.
