Update to Annexes I and II of the Portability Specification

ANACOM approved on 23 September 2025 the update to Annex I and Annex II of the Portability Specification, which set out the technical and procedural aspects relating to portability that companies with portability obligations must follow.

Specifically, Annex I - "Technical Interface between Networks", presents the technical specifications relating to portability and interconnection between networks, while Annex II - "Administrative Processes for Operator Portability", defines the administrative procedures (electronic processes) relating to number portability.

As set out in paragraph 2 of article 35 of Regulation No. 38/2025https://www.anacom.pt/render.jsp?contentId=1801193, dated 9 January, the revised versions of Annexes I and II will take effect 30 working days after their publication on the ANACOM website, that is, 6 November 2025.
