Students Still Have Time to Explore Their Futures This Fall

A new semester brings new opportunities, and Western Nevada College is encouraging students to take the next step toward achieving their educational and career goals by registering now for the Fall 2026 semester.

Whether students are planning to earn a degree, complete a workforce credential, transfer to a four-year university or prepare for a new career, WNC offers affordable, flexible pathways designed to help them succeed.

"College is about discovering what's possible," said Western Nevada College President Dr. J. Kyle Dalpe. "Whether you're preparing for your first career, changing professions, transferring to a university or simply learning new skills, Western Nevada College provides the support, flexibility and opportunities to help you achieve your goals. We encourage students to invest in themselves and begin building the future they envision."

Registering as soon as possible gives students the best opportunity to secure the classes they need, create a schedule that fits their lifestyle and prepare for a successful semester as classes started on Aug. 31.

Full-term classes can be added with instructor approval, with a final deadline of Sept. 25 at 5 p.m.

Students balancing work, family or other commitments can take advantage of these flexible learning options, which include self-paced, open-entry courses and a variety of class lengths, allowing them to learn on their own schedule. Late-start classes begin Oct. 26 and students can enroll in courses with open entry through the ninth week of the semester.
