With Thanks and Gratitude on Veterans Day

Today, on Veterans Day, we pause to honor and thank the men and women who have served - and continue to serve - in the United States Armed Forces. Their courage, sacrifice, and commitment to something larger than themselves are values that resonate deeply with all of us at Avanos.

For me, this day has special meaning. My father, Donald Pacitti, graduated from Villanova University and, shortly thereafter, volunteered to serve in the Korean War. He was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant and medic, dedicating himself to caring for others under extraordinary circumstances. His sense of duty, compassion, and quiet strength left a lasting impression on me, and shaped much of how I think about leadership and service today.

To all the veterans at Avanos, and to those with loved ones who have served, thank you. Your sacrifice, discipline, teamwork, and resilience continue to inspire us and strengthen our communities.

Please take a moment today to recognize and thank the veterans around you, both at work and in your personal lives.
