UNION GROVE - With gratitude to the communities we serve and the organizations supporting our mission, Community State Bank is proud to announce an unprecedented month of recognition.
Community State Bank was honored in seven categories in the annual Best of Racine, Best of Kenosha and Best of Geneva Lakes Awards.
CSB won awards in Best Place to Work (West of I-94), Best Financial Institution and Best Customer Service in Racine County.
In Kenosha, CSB was honored in Best Financial Institution and Best Place to Work (West of I-94). CSB was also a favorite in Best Financial Institution and Best Customer Service in Lake Geneva.
"We wouldn't be able to accomplish our goals without the incredible people committed to supporting our mission," Findysz said.
"We are proud of everything they do here and the impact they continue having on our communities. We thank all of the organizations who took the time to acknowledge their hard work."
The Best of Awards arrived after CSB was named Best Place to Work in Kenosha at the 110th annual Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce Meeting on Oct. 14 at The Club at Strawberry Creek.
"It was a proud moment," CSB VP | Market President (Kenosha-Racine) Laura Burnett Shoemaker said shortly after receiving the award. "We were chosen from comments received from our own employees as well as the selection committee."
The month began with former CSB SVP | Market President (Union Grove) David Moyer being honored as this year's Frank Lamping Community Service Award recipient.
In 2026, Moyer retired following a 20-year career at Community State Bank.
"I know of no one more deserving of the award," CSB CEO Scott Huedepohl said.
On October 7, CSB Chief Operations Officer Katie Stolp was recognized by Biz Times Milwaukee as a Notable COO. Stolp began her journey at CSB 15 years ago as a customer service representative.
"That path has given Katie something you can't learn from an org chart," said Gregory Wall, CSB Chief Innovation Officer. "She knows how decisions made around a conference table eventually reach an employee helping a customer at one of our offices."
The month wrapped up with CSB EVP | Chief Lending Officer Robert Pieroni reaching his 10th Small Business Administration 504 project with Business Lending Partners and earning his second Heavy Hitters Club bobblehead award from the Racine County Economic Development Corporation.
"Being able to support local businesses and help them achieve their goals is one of the most gratifying parts of my job," Pieroni said.
Founded in 1898, Community State Bank has seven locations throughout Kenosha, Racine and Walworth counties. CSB is headquartered in Union Grove.
