Velera, the nation's premier payments credit union service organization (CUSO) and an integrated financial technology solutions provider, is pleased to announce it will provide Cedar Point Federal Credit Union (Cedar Point) with debit and credit card processing services and support.
Based in Maryland, Cedar Point serves more than 47,000 members and manages over $882 million in assets. The credit union has been helping members build sound financial habits and access low-cost credit since 1945, offering high-quality products, personalized service and trusted guidance to support their long-term goals.
In selecting a debit and credit processing provider, Cedar Point worked closely with its advisory partners to evaluate the industry's leading options. Following a comprehensive RFP process and review, the credit union chose Velera for its modern payments experience, enhanced fraud protection and stronger support for members and staff.

Velera will begin providing debit and credit card processing support to Cedar Point through a phased rollout from late 2026 to early 2027.
