Monterey County Sheriff's Office announces Evacuation Orders related to the Timber Fire being reduced to Warnings in zones MRY-F023, MRY-F025 and MRY-F026 effective immediately

TYPE OF INCIDENT: Monterey County Timber Fire Zones MRY-F023, MRY-F025 and MRY-F026 Evacuation Ordes Reduced to Evacuation Warnings. All Other Orders and Warnings Remain in Effect

The Monterey County Sheriff's Office is DOWNGRADING the Evacuation Order previously issued for Zone MRY-F023, MRY-F025, and MRY-F026 related to the Timber Fire to an Evacuation Warning. We ask everyone in the affected areas to continue to monitor fire updates for the latest information and changes to fire activity.
When an Evacuation Warning is issued, assume an evacuation order could follow. This is your window to get ready: pack a go-bag, gather essential items, and make arrangements, especially if you have pets, large animals, or if you need extra time or assistance to leave. All previously issued Evacuation Orders and Evacuation Warnings remain in effect.

La Oficina del Alguacil del Condado de Monterey está REDUCIENDO la Orden de Evacuación emitida anteriormente para las zonas MRY-F023, MRY-F025 y MRY-F026, relacionada con el incendio Timber, a una Advertencia de Evacuación.
