Governor Lamont Directs Flags To Return to Full-Staff Sunday Evening

(HARTFORD, CT) - Governor Ned Lamont today announced that he is directing flags in Connecticut to return to full-staff at sunset on the evening of Sunday, August 16, 2026.

Flags are currently lowered to half-staff in remembrance of former Lt. Governor Nancy Wyman, who passed away on Wednesday. Calling hours in her honor are scheduled for Sunday afternoon at The Lodge Community Chapel in Windsor. A burial service will be private at the request of her family.
