Atlanta, Ga. - U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff is delivering resources to help preserve the historic Reynolds Cottage at Spelman College.
Sen. Ossoff brought Republicans and Democrats together to deliver funding to help preserve the historic Reynolds Cottage at Spelman College, including physical building upgrades and safety upgrades.
Sen. Ossoff is delivering $250,000 for the project through bipartisan government funding legislation that became law on January 23.
"Spelman College has a rich legacy and is an important part of Atlanta's story," said Sen. Ossoff. "That's why I am delivering resources to help preserve the historic Reynolds Cottage for future generations."

"This vital investment ensures that we can complete important physical and safety upgrades while honoring the legacy of this treasured landmark. Reynolds Cottage represents an enduring part of Spelman's history and of Atlanta's cultural fabric, and thanks to this support, it will continue to inspire and serve future generations of Spelman women."
Sen. Ossoff continues to deliver for Spelman College.
In 2024, Sen. Ossoff delivered $2.5 million in Federal resources to help establish a new Strategic and Security Studies Center at Spelman College, which will be affiliated with Spelman's Center of Excellence for Black Women in STEM.
In 2022, Sen. Ossoff delivered $2.3 million in Federal resources to upgrade Spelman College's technology systems.
